We are seeking a highly experienced and results-driven Plant and Operations Manager to oversee and manage all aspects of our EPS/XPS manufacturing facility. This role is responsible for the overall planning, coordination, and control of manufacturing processes to ensure that products are produced efficiently, on time, within budget, and to standard.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage daily plant operations including production, maintenance, quality control, and logistics.
Lead and supervise the EPS/XPS extrusion and molding lines ensuring maximum efficiency and minimal downtime.
Plan and execute production schedules based on demand forecasts and customer requirements.
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
Implement and monitor KPIs and continuous improvement initiatives (Lean, 5S, TPM, etc.).
Coordinate with procurement for timely availability of raw materials and supplies.
Maintain equipment and machinery to ensure proper functioning and minimal breakdowns.
Collaborate with R&D and technical teams to enhance product quality and innovation.
Manage plant budget, control operational costs, and optimize resource utilization.
Recruit, train, and develop plant staff and promote a performance-driven culture.
Report regularly to senior management on production output, challenges, and opportunities.
Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Chemical Engineering or related field.
(Master’s degree preferred)
Minimum of 7–10 years of experience in plant/operations management, with at least 3–5 years in EPS/XPS manufacturing.
Strong knowledge of extrusion/molding technologies and polymer processing.
Hands-on experience with manufacturing ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.).
Proven leadership, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
Excellent communication and decision-making capabilities.
Familiarity with ISO standards, health & safety regulations, and quality control processes.
Preferred Skills:
Knowledge of foam density control, thermal conductivity testing, and cutting equipment.
Experience in plant automation and process optimization.
Ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage change.
