- Negotiate base ocean freight with NVOCC principles on daily basis for FCL or SOC containers.
- Secure slot charges with feeder operators as advised by the principles
- Evaluate carrier performance (transit time, space availability, reliability).
- Build relations with NVOCC trade and locations customer service .
- Structure buy/sell rates per corridor: Port-to-Port ,CY-CY / CFS-CFS, Door-to-Door, Include local charges, CAF, BAF, ISPS, DOC Fee, etc.
- Apply markups or discounts based on trade lane competition for the subagency business from India & UAE
- Awareness of the Trade Lines and the market updates with the current market level to educate the principles.
- Maintain centralized enquiry tracker sheets per region.
- Market Intelligence & Competitor Monitoring, Monitor freight indexes Benchmark competitor NVOCC/MLO pricing. Adjust rates based on, Market volatility, Trade seasonality, Equipment/space imbalance & also to maintain Mapping sheets and freight updates in the WPS Easy freight system.( company system)
