- ontinuously monitor vital signs (heart rate, oxygen levels, blood pressure, etc.)
- Perform regular physical assessments and neurological checks
- Detect and respond to changes in patient conditions promptly
- Administer IV fluids, medications, and blood products
- Manage ventilators, central lines, feeding tubes, and other life-support equipment
- Carry out physician’s orders accurately and timely
- Perform CPR or other life-saving interventions when necessary
- Assist in code blue and rapid response situations
- Ensure readiness for emergency procedures
- Work closely with pediatricians, intensivists, respiratory therapists, and other nurses
- Attend team meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary planning
