Full job description
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or Architecture.
10 years of experience in construction and technical roles, with at least 5 years in industrial facture building managerial capacity.
Strong background in high-rise building projects, with proven experience from design stage to handover.
Experience with design coordination, construction detailing, authority approvals, and value engineering.
Excellent knowledge of structural systems, MEP integration, steel structural system/ façade systems, and core building services.
Ability to review, interpret, and coordinate design drawings across all disciplines.
Familiarity with local and international building codes (e.g., Dubai Municipality, NFPA, BS, ACI, ASHRAE).
Knowledge of fire and life safety, acoustics, wind load, and seismic considerations in tall buildings.
Proficient in preparing and reviewing technical documents:
Method statements, material submittals, shop drawings, technical compliance reviews
Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, Project, Navisworks, ETABS, and MS Office.
Familiarity with BIM coordination, 3D clash detection, and document control systems.
Lead technical coordination between design, procurement, construction, and subcontractor teams.
Review and approve technical submissions to ensure compliance with project specifications and standards.
Manage and track RFIs, NCRs, and design changes with full documentation control.
Liaise with consultants, clients, and authorities to secure necessary approvals.
Support the construction team in resolving site-level technical issues and ensuring buildability.
Ensure as-built documentation and final technical handover to the client/consultant.
Maintain accurate documentation of schedules, updates, and changes
Requirements:
Minimum 8 years of total experience in construction project planning
At least 5 years of UAE experience, specifically on residential, hotel, or high/medium-rise developments
Proficient in Primavera P6, MS Project, and Microsoft Excel
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline
Strong understanding of construction sequencing, planning methodologies, and local building regulations
Excellent analytical, communication, and coordination skills
Ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
