Nature of the Position: Fixed Term Full-Time

Location: Dubai, UAE

Hunting is looking for a Technical Sales Coordinator (Well intervention, Pressure Control Equipment and Slickline Tools) to join its team based in Dubai, UAE.

Role Overview:

The job holder is responsible for Internal Sales in Dubai. The job holder is responsible for actively identifying, pursuing and promptly responding to sales enquiries with existing and potential customers. They are responsible for managing the customer journey from enquiry through to order and contract review, ensuring the Company understands and meets the customer’s needs and expectations in full, whilst building and maintaining lasting relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Undertaking the internal sales role, promptly and efficiently responding to customer enquiries from both external customers and internal sources
  • Providing commercial support to tendering process as required
  • Ensuring accurate and consistent delivery of all commercial benefits, including preparing and sending commercially viable quotations, meeting both the technical needs of the customer and the commercial needs of the Company, through to completion and invoice creation
  • Continually and actively presenting and marketing the company’s services to existing and potential customers through direct communication in face-to-face meetings, telephone calls, emails and exhibition/trade shows
  • Working within corporate strategies and policy frameworks, designing and implementing sales strategies, guidelines and procedures within broad principles and policies to meet sales requirements supporting short and long-term business goals
  • Developing and attaining key performance indicators for implemented sales strategies
  • Maintaining coordination with integral company functions and directing the flow of information of sales activities and transactions, including leads, contracts, global agreements etc.
  • Answering technical queries from the customer using the resources of Engineering and other departments and assisting in formulating formal quotations to the customer
  • Using price lists that are available and generating new ones when required
  • Taking a proactive role in developing customer relationships and gathering client information to allow the invention and development of new products to meet customers' present and future needs
  • Liaising with customers to ensure that they are satisfied with the total experience of dealing with the company

Qualifications/Skills and Experience:

Essential

  • Extensive experience in Well Intervention Operational, Technical and Sales functions with either a Service Company or Equipment Manufacturer
  • Extensive knowledge in Pressure Control and Downhole Slickline and Wireline Tools
  • A proven ability to identify, develop and convert market opportunities within the oil and gas sector
  • Established Industry network
  • Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
  • Highly proficient in spoken and written English
  • Full Driving Licence

Desirable

  • Higher level qualification in business, engineering discipline or extensive experience in customer facing role
  • Knowledge and experience of an ERP system, ideally Microsoft D365

  • Must be willing to travel and able to spend time away from home
