Detailed Job Description:
As a Travel Operation Manager, you will oversee and manage the entire operational workflow of a travel agency or tour operation business. You will be responsible for supervising daily travel bookings, ensuring efficient use of Amadeus GDS, and maintaining an updated and well‑organized CRM system to track customer data, sales pipelines, and service quality.
Key Responsibilities: ·
· Manage end‑to‑end travel operations, including flight bookings, hotel reservations, transport Booking and visa processing, and package arrangements.
· Utilize Amadeus for flight ticketing, fare management, and real‑time travel solutions.
· Maintain and update CRM systems to ensure accurate client records, follow‑ups, and service delivery tracking.
· Coordinate with suppliers, airlines, hotels, transport providers and other vendors negotiate rates and ensure timely confirmations. Maintain strong partnership
· Lead, train, and supervise operational staff, ensuring adherence to policies and service standards.
· Monitor budgets, reduce operational costs, and maximize profit margins through strategic planning.
· Resolve escalated customer issues efficiently and ensure exceptional customer satisfaction.
· Prepare operational reports, performance metrics, and continuous improvement plans.
· Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to align operational capabilities with business goals.
· Prepare regular reports on operational performance, customer feedback, and market trends.
Skills & Competencies:
Expert in Amadeus and other GDS platforms
Strong knowledge of CRM systems and workflow automation
Excellent organizational and leadership skills
Problem‑solving mindset with strong attention to detail
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, if needed
Knowledge of rate parity policies, market trends, and dynamic packaging.
