What you'll be doing
- Build and maintain long-term, trustworthy relationships with retailers, distributors, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure seamless operations.
- Optimize brand performance across markets by setting and achieving realistic sell-in/sell-out targets per account.
- Plan and execute tailored monthly marketing calendars for key customers to drive visibility and sales.
- Lead efforts to elevate brand presence in-store through strong merchandising, product availability, and negotiations for premium placements.
- Motivate and develop a high-performing team, including Beauty Advisors and Brand Managers, to execute go-to-market strategies and maximize sell-out.
- Collaborate closely with distributors and local partners to expand market reach, boost year-over-year sales, and improve gross margins.
- Drive monthly forecasting by customer, SKU, and market, aligning sales expectations with market realities.
- Coordinate cross-functionally with supply chain, marketing, finance, and regulatory teams to ensure smooth operations and timely product launches.
- Analyze sales and stock reports per country to inform decisions and take swift, strategic action where needed.
What you’ll need to succeed
- Proven track record in brand or commercial management, ideally within the beauty/cosmetics industry.
- Strong relationship-building and stakeholder management skills across internal teams and external partners.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and drive action plans that improve performance.
- Experience in leading and developing teams toward ambitious targets and delivering tangible results.
- Deep understanding of retail dynamics, merchandising, and distributor-led markets, especially in South Asia and India.
- Excellent planning and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple markets and partners simultaneously.
- Solid business acumen with a focus on profitability, market share growth, and customer satisfaction.
- Collaborative and solutions-oriented approach when working with cross-functional teams including supply chain, marketing, finance, and regulatory.
- Fluent in English; additional languages like Arabic and French are a plus.
