You will be working as Local Product Group Manager and will be a part of the Industrial Automation business for Energy Industries business line based in Abu Dhabi, UAE. In this role you will be reporting to Local Business Line (LBL) Manager. You will be responsible for sales activities in order to achieve defined targets for Oil & Gas segment and ensure business growth through the local representation of the Global Product Group.

Your responsibilities
Generating business lead as the key performance criteria. Possessing strong network with end customers, consultants and EPC contractors to generate business leads and maintaining a healthy pipeline for the business.
Implementing the global product group strategy in the country and ensuring business development in domestic and allocated market. Providing input to global product group strategy. Participating in local business unit strategy development in partnership with local management team.
Ensuring development of performance targets in line with global targets and ensuring achievement through regular oversight and definition of improvement actions as needed.
Evaluating market opportunities and deciding appropriate activities in line with the strategy. Managing relevant Research and Development initiatives.
In-depth knowledge of the Oil & Gas market specially the automation and electrical system with regards to the end users (Projects Under Planning), EPCs (Projects under Tendering) and consultants.
Developing good understanding of the value proposition of ABB. Coordinating with the functions such as tendering, engineering and supply chain in order to drive the process to a successful conclusion.

Your background
A Degree or Diploma in Electrical, Electronics & Control Engineering.
Minimum experience of 15 years in Oil & Gas Industry in sales role.
Required excellent skills in customer relations with mature selling behavior.
Required strong experience in direct selling. Should have strong customer handling experience in Oil and Gas segment.
Required good interpersonal skills.
