Job Overview
As a Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the kitchen, including meal preparation, menu planning, and ensuring food quality and presentation meet high standards.
Duties
- Prepare food according to the customer orders.
- Manage kitchen staff and coordinate food preparation activities
- Develop and update menus to meet customer preferences and seasonal availability
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and quality standards
- Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed
- Collaborate with the management team to plan and execute catering events
- Train kitchen staff on proper cooking techniques and safety procedures
Skills
- Need to prepare food in short time.
- Knowledge in preparation of all kind of foods.
- Proficiency in culinary techniques and kitchen management
- Strong leadership abilities to guide and motivate kitchen staff
- Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations
- Experience in banquet or catering operations
- Ability to maintain inventory control and manage food costs efficiently
- Prior experience in a cook or chef role within the Restaurant industry.
