Job Title: Senior MEP Draftsman

Job Description:
We are seeking a highly experienced MEP Draftsman with a solid background in mechanical, electrical, and plumbing drafting for construction projects. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 10 years of total experience, including at least 8 years in the Gulf region, and will be proficient in preparing detailed coordination and shop drawings for high-rise buildings, commercial complexes, and infrastructure projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare accurate and detailed MEP shop drawings and coordination drawings based on project specifications and design drawings.
- Ensure drawings are in compliance with local authority regulations and international standards.
- Coordinate with MEP engineers, consultants, architects, and site teams to resolve design conflicts.
- Update drawings based on design revisions, site instructions, or as-built requirements.
- Prepare builders’ work, sleeve, and penetration drawings.
- Maintain drawing logs, records, and revision histories.
Requirements:
- Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering
- Minimum 10 years of experience in MEP drafting.
- At least 8 years of experience in the Gulf region on major construction projects.
- Proficient in AutoCAD, with working knowledge of Revit MEP and other BIM tools being an advantage.
- Strong understanding of MEP services including HVAC, plumbing, drainage, fire protection, and electrical systems.
- Familiarity with Gulf standards and authority regulations (e.g., DEWA, ADDC, DM, etc.).
- Knowldge and Expert in Revit+BIM
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
