Job description
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate greenhouse staff in day-to-day operations
- Monitor plant health, irrigation systems, and nutrient management
- Maintain climate control systems for optimal growing conditions
- Implement pest and disease management strategies
- Oversee planting, pruning, harvesting, and post-harvest activities
- Maintain records on crop performance, labor, and inventory
- Ensure compliance with safety and hygiene standards
- Train and motivate team members for improved efficiency and productivity
- Assist with planning and implementing production schedules
Requirements:
- Proven experience in greenhouse or horticultural operations
- Knowledge of plant biology, pest management, and climate control systems
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to work in a physically demanding, fast-paced environment
- Familiarity with greenhouse technologies and automation systems is a plus
- Diploma or degree in Agriculture, Horticulture, or related field preferred
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Al-Ayn: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
