Job Summary:
The HR Officer will support the HR department in ensuring smooth and efficient business operations. You will be responsible for executing and coordinating various HR functions, including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, payroll processing, visa management, and compliance with company policies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Recruitment and Onboarding:
- Assist in developing job descriptions and job advertisements.
- Source and screen candidates through various channels.
- Coordinate and conduct interviews, and assist in the selection process.
- Facilitate onboarding and induction programs for new employees.
- Employee Relations:
- Act as a point of contact for employee inquiries and concerns.
- Assist in managing employee grievances and resolving conflicts.
- Promote a positive workplace culture and ensure employee satisfaction.
- Coordinate and support the implementation of employee engagement initiatives.
- HR Administration:
- Maintain and update employee records in the HR database.
- Prepare HR documents, such as employment contracts and offer letters.
- Ensure compliance with labor laws and company policies.
- Payroll Processing:
- Prepare and process payroll on a regular schedule (e.g., monthly).
- Ensure accurate calculation of salaries, bonuses, deductions, and overtime.
- Manage employee benefits, such as health insurance, retirement contributions, and allowances.
- Verify and reconcile payroll data with attendance records and timesheets.
- Address and resolve payroll-related issues and discrepancies.
- Ensure compliance with local tax regulations and employment laws.
- Performance Management:
- Assist in the development and implementation of performance management processes.
- Support managers and employees in setting goals and conducting performance reviews.
- Track employee performance and recommend corrective actions when necessary.
- Visa Processing:
- Handle all aspects of the visa application process, including preparation, submission, and follow-up on required documentation.
- Coordinate with relevant authorities to ensure timely processing of work permits, residence visas, and other related documentation.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of immigration regulations and ensure compliance with local labor laws.
- Assist in renewing visas, labor contracts, and any related documentation as required.
- Training and Development:
- Identify training needs in collaboration with department heads.
- Coordinate training programs and workshops.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of training sessions.
- Compliance and Reporting:
- Ensure HR practices comply with local labor laws and regulations.
- Assist in preparing HR reports and analytics for management review.
- Support audits and ensure timely and accurate documentation.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 2-4 years of experience in an HR role, with a focus on payroll processing and visa management.
- Strong knowledge of HR functions, payroll processing, labor laws, and best practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: AED5,500.00 - AED6,000.00 per month
