Hub Manager MENA - Flexible Location (1 Year France HQ) Physical Location TBC within Middle East
Job Purpose
International Division (InDi), is in Royal Canin the unit dedicated to the development of sales worldwide through a network of importers (80 markets, 120 million € NSV/year, 6 factories).
International Division has a clear transformation project to accelerate and develop local business through the creation of 4 Hubs across the globe.
This Hub Manager role that will be sitting in each of the 4 newly created Hub Areas will have the responsibility of 11 countries and 11 importers. This Hub Lead MENA role will be based in France until the MENA Hub location has been confirmed, after which the role will be based in the new location. This role will, through the management of a team of 2 direct reports and 1 indirect, drive strategic business and marketing planning, deliver Hub Areas sales target and further develop commercial excellence and governance across our set of importers.
The Hub manager will be a full time member of the InDi Leadership Team and as such is expected to actively contribute to the InDi 2030 OGSM & roadmap.
What are we looking for?
University degree In Business Administration or Marketing
Fluent in written and spoken English
+5 years experience within sales, commercial, marketing or related field wit5h a strong focus on Customer-centricity & experience with distributors RTM required
Demonstrated high analytical & financial acumen, P&L understanding and insight development
Confident decision maker with the ability to influence & lead conversations with higher management and negotiations with customers
Experience in navigating complex environment, quickly adapt to changing and challenging situations
Strong understanding of sales process & planning, national customer marketing and ability to translate insights into market opportunities
Experience of managing in-store & digital activation measurement and excellence
Proven track record in driving category growth
Ability to lead and manage 3rd party agencies
What will be your key responsibilities?
1) Hub P&L & priorities ownership
Deliver and own the year plan in line with AEP targets and with a strong focus on strategic KPIs (SOL, Cat, Vet, Wet)
Deliver on InDI & Hub priorities in line with OGSM 2030 ambition
Deliver and own the AEP process for the Hub which is the consolidation of all markets/spots business
Manage monthly business reviews & business KPIs monitoring for all markets
Manage periodic MBR reporting into InDI S&OP+
Ensure control and governance of local actions to secure financial targets
2)Importer relationship & capabilities
Manage importer relationship: monthly business review, contracts (terms & conditions) and commercial offer update, market visits
Elevate importer capabilities & improve internal processes: scorecard capability assessment, trainings,
Prospect new countries, new importers
3) Hub Strategic roadmap
Draft the Hub 2030 strategic roadmap in line with the InDi strategic roadmap & RGM framework and at the service of OGSM
Gather and update business intelligence: in charge of capturing, monitoring business data & insights
4) Governance & Compliance
Owns the Hub Governance & Compliance agenda
Royal Canin/Importers contracts signed on time, all clauses and conditions respected
5) Recruit, Onboard, Engage & Deliver Performance (GLM) through a team of 2 direct reports plus 1 dotted line
HPC: boost effective collaboration across the team and across the Hubs & with InDi central team
MAS: manage an engaged team of associates, well connected to the Royal Canin culture with strong connection to the hosting unit and to the InDi specific culture.
Work closely with the P&O Director, he/she builds the management team, talent pool, and talent pipeline.
Be responsible of associates engagement and entrepreneur mindset.
Talent & development: develop its team and create talent bridges to benefit Associates careers and build strong pipeline
6) Cross Functional Collaboration
Participate actively to InDi LT agenda as a LT full-time member
Champion the Sales Agenda with other 3 Hub Managers: classification, numerical distribution, QTT, sales rep management, picture of success
Share Best Practices across InDi and with other E&S markets and beyond
Connect to broader Petcare Ecosystem to identify business & development opportunities
