Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and results-driven Media Buyer with strong knowledge of the UAE media landscape to join our growing marketing agency. The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, negotiating, and purchasing advertising space across digital and traditional channels, to deliver impactful, high-ROI campaigns for our clients.
Key Responsibilities1. Media Strategy & Planning
- Collaborate with clients and internal teams to understand campaign goals, target audiences, and budgets.
- Develop comprehensive media plans across various channels (digital, print, outdoor, radio, TV).
- Conduct market research to identify effective platforms for each campaign, with a focus on the UAE market.
2. Media Buying & Negotiation
- Execute and manage media purchases, ensuring optimal placement and pricing.
- Negotiate rates and secure value-added opportunities with media vendors, publishers, and ad networks.
- Maintain and grow relationships with key media partners in the UAE.
3. Campaign Execution & Optimization
- Monitor campaigns in real time to ensure alignment with KPIs (CPM, CPC, CTR, conversions).
- Adjust media plans based on performance data and optimization insights.
- Coordinate with digital teams for performance marketing efforts (Google Ads, Meta Ads, Programmatic, etc.).
4. Budget Management
- Manage media budgets across campaigns to ensure efficient allocation and maximize ROI.
- Track and report spending, ensuring all media invoices are accurate and processed on time.
- Provide detailed post-campaign reports with performance analysis.
5. Research & Insights
- Stay up to date with emerging trends, consumer behavior, and platform innovations in the UAE.
- Analyze competitor media activity to inform campaign strategies.
- Recommend new media channels and creative opportunities.
6. Client Communication
- Act as a strategic advisor, presenting media plans, reports, and optimization strategies to clients.
- Handle client queries and feedback professionally, ensuring expectations are met or exceeded.
QualificationsEducation & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, or a related field.
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in media buying, preferably in a marketing agency.
- Proven track record with both digital and traditional media in the UAE market.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong knowledge of UAE media vendors, media consumption trends, and pricing structures.
- Proficiency in media tools and platforms: Google Ads, Meta Business Suite, LinkedIn Ads, programmatic DSPs, etc.
- Excellent negotiation and vendor management skills.
- An analytical mindset with the ability to derive insights from data and adjust strategies accordingly.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
Preferred:
- Experience with programmatic advertising and performance marketing.
- Familiarity with luxury, real estate, hospitality, or retail sectors in the UAE.
- Arabic language proficiency is a plus.
