We are seeking an experienced MEP Coordinator to join our growing team in the interior fitout industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for coordinating mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) works across multiple interior fitout projects, ensuring that installations meet project specifications, timelines, and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review MEP design drawings, specifications, and BOQs to ensure alignment with architectural and interior design.
- Coordinate and monitor all MEP site activities to ensure timely execution.
- Liaise with consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers for MEP-related tasks.
- Ensure MEP works are executed as per approved drawings and within project budget and schedule.
- Prepare and track shop drawings, material submittals, and technical documentation for approvals.
- Conduct site inspections and resolve any technical issues or conflicts on-site.
- Verify MEP installations for compliance with local codes and project standards.
- Attend site meetings, report progress, and provide technical input when required.
- Coordinate testing, commissioning, and handover of MEP systems.
- Ensure implementation of safety protocols and quality control procedures.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree/Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 3+ years of experience as an MEP Coordinator in fitout or construction projects.
- Strong preference for candidates with UAE experience.
- Excellent knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection systems.
- Familiar with UAE building codes and authority regulations (DEWA, DM, Civil Defense, etc.).
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Proficient in AutoCAD, MS Office, and project management tools.
