Our clients include top-tier contractors and engineering firms across the UAE. We are currently hiring an experienced Quantity Surveyor (MEP) to join one of our prestigious client projects.
Job Description:
We are seeking a qualified and detail-oriented MEP Quantity Surveyor to manage cost estimation, tendering, and contract administration for mechanical, electrical, and plumbing works. The ideal candidate will have solid knowledge of MEP systems and a proven track record of delivering accurate cost control on large-scale construction projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare detailed cost estimates for MEP works including materials, labor, and equipment.
- Review contract documents and identify scope gaps and risks.
- Monitor project budgets, variations, and cost control measures.
- Evaluate subcontractor quotations and negotiate contracts.
- Prepare interim valuations and final accounts.
- Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and procurement teams.
- Provide monthly cost reports and financial forecasts.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of UAE experience in MEP quantity surveying.
- Strong knowledge of MEP systems (HVAC, plumbing, electrical).
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Office, and quantity takeoff software (e.g., Planswift, Bluebeam).
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and analytical skills.
- Knowledge of local market rates and construction regulations.
