The hotel comprises 213 luxurious guestrooms and suites and 6 four-bedroom villas with private pools, all furnished to the highest standards in a modern Arabic style. To meet the needs of long-staying guests, the hotel offers 161 fully-furnished spacious serviced apartments ranging from studios to four-bedroom units. The hotel is located within the acclaimed Qaryat Al Beri complex, on a one-kilometre stretch of private beach overlooking the strait that separates Abu Dhabi Island from the mainland. The hotel is conveniently located next to a souk, offering a variety of shops under one roof. It is only a ten-minute drive from the city’s international airport, five minutes from the golf course and the Convention Centre, and 15 minutes from the Corniche and the city centre.

DUTIES

The IT Adminstrator is resposibile for the company’s computer network is running smoothly and efficiently. Maintain accurate and complete documentations for company policies and procedures.

The key responsibilities of the position are as follows :
Monitoring the network and ensuring its smooth running.
Upkeep & Health of the Servers & Interfaces
Ensure trouble free operations of the PMS system (OPERA)
Ensure efficient operation of the Restaurant POS system (INFRASYS)
Assist guests in Internet connections on their personal computers with a friendly, competent, and top-quality service
Provide Help to guests on all Interactive TV problems and doubts.
Maintenance & Troubleshooting of Hardware like Printers, PC’s, and Network.
Provide technical assistance to office staffs as needed.
Provide essential guidance to the user related to IT.
Troubleshooting and R&D in the IT field.
Create & maintain users for the Windows & other systems.
System inventory update
To ensure that all guest complaints are investigated, and proper action is taken.
Ensure that hardware and software is not misused, which may result in any loss or damage, thereby causing a financial burden on the company.
Co-ordinates and controls all activities during the shift
Performs other duties as requested by superiors as and when required.

REQUIREMENTS

Minimum of 1 year as an IT desktop/helpdesk support in a customer-service oriented company/4 Star Hotel

Excellent communication skills in English (oral and written). Fluency in any other langauage is preferable
Passion for delivering exceptional levels of guest service

Windows 10 or earlier version, End-point/Malware protection or Anti-Virus,

MS Outlook and other MS Office Applications.

Android/IOS smart devices Basic Desktop Hardware assembly.

Basics in TCP/IP Wired and wireless network
