WHAT YOU WILL EXPERIENCE IN THIS POSITION:

In this position, you will get to:

  • Develop sales plans and strategies targeting global account needs and enhance revenue growth.
  • Analyze market opportunities specifically with global accounts and end users.
  • Grow and shape current sales business and identify key growth opportunities.
  • Travel throughout assigned territory to call on existing and prospective customers to identify opportunities and solicit orders.
  • Analyze customers’ needs and recommend solutions that best meet the customers’ requirements.
  • Devise, implement and utilize a follow up system and metrics to monitor success rate.
  • Maintain a co-operative and credible working relationship with other company personnel to assure customer satisfaction.
  • Provide necessary reports and surveys requested by product management team.
  • Compile lists of prospective customers for use as sales leads based on information from networks, media, business directories, trade shows, Internet Web sites, and other sources.
  • Lead Customer consultations and negotiations.
  • Co-operate with the team of MEA sales leaders
  • Commercially manage sales margins for best return and business growth.
  • Formally provide input on pricing, delivery and other sales influencing factors to Regional Business Unit
  • Develop an understanding of market trends and the competitive environment
  • Promptly follow up marketing leads and other customer-based actions.
  • Enter new customer data and other sales data for current customers into database

YOU HAVE:

  • Academic background in Bachelor Degree in Engineering with MBA Sales & Marketing
  • Prefer experience in Oil and Gas (O&G) Market (On and Offshore) with Technical & Electrical solutions
  • >5 years external sales and marketing experience in a professional target driven business
  • Growing top line sales through targeted individual sales activity
  • Previously managed large geographic territory
  • Negotiation and management of major contracts and key accounts
  • Budget processing/forecasting/management reporting
