- Analyze project plans, blueprints, and specifications to develop detailed cost estimates.
- Evaluate bid proposals, tender documents, and other project-related materials.
- Determine material, labor, and equipment costs for projects.
- Collaborate with engineers, architects, and project managers to understand project requirements and scope.
- Conduct site visits to gather information on access, site conditions, and project constraints.
- Source pricing information from suppliers, subcontractors, and vendors.
- Prepare and submit accurate and competitive tender proposals and bid packages.
- Identify potential risks and provide recommendations for cost-saving measures.
- Monitor and review ongoing projects to ensure estimates align with actual costs.
- Maintain an up-to-date database of costs, pricing, and industry trends.
