We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Automotive Estimator to join our team. The ideal candidate will accurately assess vehicle damage, prepare cost estimates for repairs, and work closely with technicians, insurance companies, and customers to ensure a smooth and transparent process.
Key Responsibilities:
- Inspect damaged vehicles and assess the extent of repairs needed
- Prepare accurate, detailed cost estimates for parts, labor, and timelines
- Communicate estimates clearly to customers and insurance representatives
- Coordinate with technicians and service advisors to ensure job accuracy and efficiency
- Follow up with clients to provide updates and clarify estimate-related questions
- Maintain records of estimates, repair orders, and job status
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Estimator in the automotive industry
- Strong knowledge of repair processes, automotive parts, and insurance procedures
- Proficiency in estimation software is a plus
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Attention to detail and ability to multitask under pressure
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical training is a plus
