Supervisory Responsibilities:

  • Hires and trains sales team.
  • Organizes and oversees the schedules, and performance of sales team.
  • Conducts performance evaluations that are timely and constructive.
  • Handles discipline and termination of employees in accordance with company policy.


  • Completes store operational requirements by scheduling and assigning employees.
  • Identifies current and future customer requirements by establishing rapport with potential and actual customers to understand service requirements.
  • Determining which products should be stocked in each location based on customer preferences and purchasing history.
  • Providing feedback to employees regarding their performance and conduct in order to retain effective employees and terminate those who are not productive or who violate company policies
  • Managing the hiring and training of staff, including store managers.
  • Motivating the sales team to meet sales objectives by training and mentoring staff.
  • Creating business strategies to attract new customers, expand store traffic, and enhance profitability
  • Deal with complaints from customers to maintain the company’s reputation
  • Inspect the areas in stores and resolve any issues that might arise
  • Identifies opportunities for improvement in the store region; designs and implements training, strategies, policies, goals, and other resources to maximize productivity and morale.
  • Maintains knowledge of market, competition, and best practices and trends in sales techniques and strategies.
  • Collaborate with marketing department to develop and implement marketing strategies to improve sales, such as hosting in-store events or advertising promotions on social media.
  • Collaborate with procurements department to recommend changes in pricing in products.
  • Ensuring that all staff are trained on company policies and procedures related to sales and customer service.
  • Establish customer relationship management (CRM) systems and guidelines to manage customer relationships.
  • Review sales team monthly performance by analysing performance reports.
  • Prepare monthly/annually sales reports and forecast for top management or whenever needed.

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent sales and customer service skills, with proven negotiation skills.
  • Excellent math skills to draft and implement budgets and conduct data analysis.
  • Excellent supervisory and leadership skills.
  • Thorough understanding of companys products and/or services, and those of immediate competitors in the surrounding market.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
